International Mental Health Resource Services

Since 2013, IMERSE has been promoting community mental health care. We emphasize training healthcare workers, educators and community leaders in basic mental health skills and knowledge, destigmatizing mental health challenges, and promoting positive coping skills. We stress the importance of the active involvement of people with mental illness, epilepsy and their primary caregivers and families.

IMERSE is conducting mental health and psycho-social support trainings for frontline health workers and producing mental health resource materials for the general public.
IMERSE previously worked with high schools throughout Eswatini to develop peer counseling clubs.
We aided and empowered individuals with mental health issues by hosting art workshops as part of our "Healing through Art" project.
