International Mental Health Resource Services

Since 2013, IMERSE has been promoting community mental health care in Eswatini.  We   train healthcare workers, educators, students, and community leaders in basic mental health skills and knowledge, counter widespread stigma associated with mental health issues, and promote positive coping skills.  We stress the importance of the active involvement of the whole community, including people with mental health issues, their families, and people in key leadership positions within communities.
